Shades of Yoga is proud to bring our unique RYT 200 hour Teacher Training to the beautiful and diverse South East Asian country, Thailand. Located in Chiang Mai “Thailand’s “Rose of the North” is a cultural and natural wonderland with ethnic diversity, a multitude of attractions and welcoming hospitality.” (Thailand Tourism Center) Chiang Mai is the showpiece for Northern Thailands’ cultural diversity and is the perfect place to immerse yourself in a month of physical, mental and emotional transformation through Shades of Yoga’s 200 hour Teacher Training Course.
The course will be held in the beautiful old city, Chiang Mai – “The old city is one of Chiang Mai’s biggest attractions. Built over 700 years ago, the city was once an entirely walled square surrounded by a moat. One can imagine what an exotic place it would have been centuries ago – a thriving centre for Buddhism, artisans and merchants thronging with monks swathed in orange, soldiers and elephants.” (www.embracechiangmai.com/index.php?page=oldcity) Essentially, not much has changed in this regard as the old city is still home to many artisans, over 35 temples, a university, a buddhist monk training school and loads of very intriguing spiritual tourists that have come to lap up the culture and good weather.
