The smaller classes really make this a valuable, genuine, personal experience. Choosing a yoga teacher training program... that ticks off all of your boxes is super hard, I struggled to find the right place for mine. But I took the time, read reviews, and did the research which drew me to Shades of Yoga. I wouldn’t change a thing about my experience. If you are looking for a truly remarkable journey with a beautiful understanding of yoga philosophy, strong teaching skills by experienced teachers, a well thought out structured program, to provide a life changing experience as well as a few tears along the way, then this is the school for you.read more

I had the opportunity to take the 200 YTT through Shades of Yoga after spending so many hours researching all of the... different courses in Bali and am SO happy I choose this one! The classes are small, the teacher is amazing and you learn how to practice yoga in a safe and sustainable way. This course not only teaches you the fundamentals of yoga postures but the deep philosophy behind it. I really cannot recommend this course enough. It changed my life for the better. :)read more

I just completed the December/January training with Shades of Yoga. I absolutely loved my experienced and wouldn't... hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Tracey and Charlotte are amazing. Two very different people, but they compliment each other perfectly and have so much insight and knowledge to share. Charlotte was my head teacher and as a head teacher, she was intuitive, compassionate, and extremely well spoken. For being the leader of a group of so many different people from different parts of the worlds with so many different personalities, she balances it and makes it a beautiful experience.read more

I did the Shades of Yoga 200hours training in December and January and it's a life-changing experience. Not only will... you learn how to align, sequence and teach in a beautiful setting but you also get insights in all different aspects of yoga. The course goes much further than just the physical aspect of yoga, it will open a door to how you look at yourself and others. Our group was lovely, we were a group of 13 people from all around the world, with different characters, backgrounds and yoga levels and in no time we became a little family. Charlotte is an amazing teacher and Tracey has so much in-depth when it comes to Yoga and Enneagram. I highly recommend doing a course with Shades of Yoga!read more

Shades of Yoga was a life changing experience. There are many yoga schools in Bali, but this one was one of the... longest standing, run by highly experienced teachers. The training was impeccable, Charlotte guided us through our course with dedication and equipped us with all we needed to take our journey onto the next level. Tracey, the director, takes personal care of each course and ensures that the highest standards are met. Due to the intimacy number of the course, we became a family and made life long friends that supported each other and made the course meaningful and personal. Such a beautiful location and environment within the heart of Ubud, I would not have chosen anywhere else and would do it all again! Beautiful experience and one I will always cherish. I recently graduated from Shades of Yoga 200hr YTT and loved my journey through this transformational experience.... Charlotte is an incredible teacher, I can't express my adoration for her. She holds so much space for each student and as a whole group. She provoked a lot of self inquiry with her words and teachings of philosophy. One of my greatest teachers. And not to mention the beautiful location of Ubud, Bali! I feel so prepared to go out into the yoga world to teach now and I can't wait to get my yoga career started.read more

I would definitely recommend Shades of Yoga-RYT 200! Charlotte is a wonderful and inspiring teacher who did her best!... The location where the teacher training program takes place is extremely convenient, and despite the fact that it is located in Ubud city center, the Yoga Shala (where we spend most of our time) is surrounded by lush green vegetation. I really loved every moment spent there and I feel that I gained a solid foundation of knowledge that will help me to start teaching yoga. Thank you for the wonderful experience in Bali!read more

Life changing experience. Shades of Yoga embodies all of the information of what Yoga truly is. You will gain the... knowledge to better understand yoga, yourself and how to teach a safe and well balanced yoga practice. My favorite part was how small and intimate the training felt. I got to know each of the other students and the teachers very well. I felt connected to everyone. Taksu was a beautiful venue with amazing food.read more
