All trainees attending our events must have their own travel and medical insurance for the duration of the training.


If you’ve booked a shared room and as the course date approaches, we do not have another student who has also opted for a twin room to be your roommate, you have the option to upgrade to a private room by paying extra. This private room will be at our venue that we run our course from 

Alternatively, you can opt for a private room in one of our partner accommodations without any additional fee, all located within a maximum 10-minute walk from our yoga Shala

Deposit and Payment Terms

  • A $500 USD non-refundable deposit and administration fee is payable upon application for all courses.
  • SHADES OF YOGA cannot hold a place on any course or retreat without receiving at the minimum your (non-refundable) deposit of $500 USD.
  • The deposit is deducted from the total cost of the course. This is non-refundable but is fully transferable to any other course for up to 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • The deposit only holds your place on the course- you need to have paid in full for your course in order to have access to any of the course content.
  • All payments collected for training fees are non-refundable within 6 months of the training start date. SHADES OF YOGA is not obligated to refund any collected payments within this 6-month period.
