This RYT 200 Hour course will be centred on the themes of finding and connecting to your deep inner level of consciousness and using the pristine and peaceful environment of Iguana Lodge to return to that which matters, conscious awareness. This training will focus on creating space for a true inner peace that is hard to find in the hustle and bustle of modern-day living. Students qualify with the international Yoga Alliance yoga instructor qualification.

How to Get to Iguana Lodge:
The journey to Iguana Lodge is an adventure that is truly worth the effort. When you arrive you will see there is no better place than this untouched stretch of pristine Costa Rican coastline to immerse yourself in the study of yoga
Upon your arrival into San Jose at Juan Santamaria International Airport, you will need to make a connection that will bring you south down to the Osa Peninsula.
A flight from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez takes approximately 45 minutes.
Iguana Lodge recommends Nature Air, the only airline in the entire world that has reduced their carbon footprint to zero. Nature Air is a safe and customer-service oriented airline that services all of Costa Rica.
Alternatively upon your arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in San Jose, you can fly Sansa Airlines to Puetro Jimenez.
Please e-mail Iguana Lodge to arrange a shuttle to and from the Puerto Jimenez Airport. Include your full name, arrival and departure times on Nature Air or Sansa.
Please note that although it is possible to drive or catch a bus down to Iguana Lodge, we recommend these options only if you are an experienced traveller or speak a decent level of Spanish.

Iguana Lodge and their chefs use local ingredients to create meals that will nourish you and keep you feeling energetic throughout the training. The food is fresh and eclectic, sourced as much as possible from local organic farms and created with love by the local Costa Rican staff. The kitchen at Iguana Lodge has received multiple high quality reviews and they have even created their own cookbook , so as you can see, they take their food seriously!

Iguana Lodge is devoted to serving the freshest ingredients possible that are delivered daily to their kitchen. Your stay will include three meals per day from their acclaimed kitchen and vegetarian and gluten free diets are all lovingly catered for.
Iguana Lodge offers full service spa treatments that gracefully compliment the serene aura of the property and its surroundings while adding another holistic dimension to your Teacher Training experience. Choose from a range of treatments that use local organic ingredients, and are administered by spa estheticians that are trained in a multitude of techniques.
Cost of the Yoga Teacher Training
All prices are inclusive of:
- 24 nights accommodation
- 3 healthy organic meals per day
- All tuition costs for the training
- Airport transfer to Iguana Lodge (one way)
Twin Share Occupancy – $5750 USD (all inclusive)
Please note the following about your accommodation:
- All Shades of Yoga courses start on a Monday morning and end on a Wednesday afternoon.
- Your course fee includes 24 nights accommodation at Iguana Lodge, which covers the Sunday night before the course begins, and the final Wednesday night of the course. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy your final day of the course and only have to check out the following morning.
- Please ensure that you arrive at Iguana Lodge in time for the Sunday 4pm meet and greet. We’ll introduce ourselves and discuss schedule, assignments and other logistics. This will be followed by dinner at Iguana Lodge and the course will commence the following morning.
Payment terms: Please note, due to the all-inclusive nature of Costa Rica courses, a deposit of $2500 USD is required to secure your place. The remainder of the fee is due strictly no later than two weeks prior to course commencement.
